May 24/25 - Weekend Round Up | Human Powered Racing

Another Big Weekend for Human Powered Racing. Drew Robertson and Marcia Kirby booked their tickets for the 2015 ITU Sprint World Championship in Chicago with their age group wins at the Shawnigan Lake Tri. Drew and Marcia took 4 and 2 minutes respectively off of their 2013 times. Congratulations Guys!

Meanwhile, up in Whistler, B.C., 10 athletes braved brutal conditions for the annual Human Powered Racing Ironman Canada Camp. Cold, rainy conditions played some havoc with the training schedule, but everyone did fantastic on a weekend that included a full loop of the bike course on Saturday and a full loop of the run course on Sunday. Whatever conditions race day throws at this group will be nothing compared to this past weekend.
