Parksville 360/ TC 10k
Another Parksville 360 is in the books.
This years ride had over 30 cyclists. All of the usual fun was had; sun, wind, rain, flats, The Willow Street Cafe in Chemainus for lunch, Pizza and Beer in the parking lot of the Paradise Sea Shell Motel, Marsha’s cookies, Coke, Chips, NHL playoff hockey (this year’s mini putt tournament was rained out).
All in all, this is one of the best team building events that we do each and every year. We even have a good group that just does the Chemainus and back ride (180km) each year as well (2 X Malahat fun).
A big thank you to our Parksville support crew; Marsha and Liz and also to Ian who was the support crew for out Chemainus riders on Saturday.
Congratulations also goes out to Kara Hobby (setting a 10k pb) and Robin Dunkley (who rode Saturday and raced Boston on Monday) who competed in the TC 10k this past weekend as well.
Great Job Everyone!
