June 3rd Wrap Up

We had 2 trio’s of Human Powered Racing athletes racing this past weekend around the province. A big congratulations to Noreen, Jodi and April who raced the Goddess Half Marathon on the West Shore and also to Heather, Brian and Victoria who were over in the Okanagan taking on some tough conditions at the Oliver Half Iron. Congrats to you all.

Meanwhile, back in Victoria, a group of 25 riders assembled for the recovery week bakery ride, only this time with a KOM challenge to the top of Durrance. The leisurely pace of the first 30km was quickly broken when the race to the top began at Brentwood Bay.

Next weekend look for a number of Human Powered Racing athletes helping out and encouraging the next generation at the Victoria Youth Triathlon.
