Eliminator Triathlon is a unique format to triathlon in B.C. The race is made up of a series of heats, over a very short course, where athletes compete multiple times in succession. The top finishers in each heat move on until a final heat for each gender determines the race winners. Every competitor is guaranteed at least two races in this format.

Each heat consists of a small number of athletes completing a 200m swim, 5K bike and 1K run. The top ten athletes from each heat move on to semi-finals and then finals, with the remainder of competitors from first heats moving on to consolation races. Athletes that are on the consolation side can still make it to the Grand Final, but will have to put in one extra race to get there.

This year we will have a Men’s and Women’s Open division AND a Masters (50+) Men and Masters Women division.
