Sunday was another fantastic day for racing in Esquimalt as over 125 athletes took to the course to race and raise money and awareness for the Victoria Sexual Assault Centre.

A big congratulations to Human Powered Racing athletes Ivor John who took out the overall victory in the men’s event and also to Nancy Carleton who was 2nd overall in the women’s race.

This was also the third and final event in the Vancouver Island Youth Triathlon Series so we would like to thank and congratulate the 18 athletes that competed in all three events and scored a very cool series sweatshirt complements of series title sponsor Island Savings.
