Metal Men and Kusam Klimber

Human Powered Racing is not just a team of road triathletes anymore! Over the past couple of seasons we have had a few athletes migrating to the XTERRA off road racing format as well as the ultra trail running scene. This past weekend we had a few of our hard core off road athletes taking to the trails both on the Island and over on the Mainland. Kelly Sharman and Adrian Walton were on the fat tires racing the very popular Test of Metal in Squamish B.C. while Jodi Mucha was on foot and taking on the grueling Kusam Klimb outside of Sayward just north of Victoria. Congratulations Gang!

These events are two of the many grass roots events that still flourish in and around Vancouver Island and the Lower Mainland.
