Spring Break Youth Camp

New for 2018, Human Powered Racing is hosting a triathlon camp for young athletes aged 8-16 during Spring Break.  The camp runs from 9 am to 3 pm each day from March 26 to March 30 at the Crystal Pool in Victoria.

When developing in a sport it is just as important to learn the mental, and technical, aspects of the sport as to train for the physical aspects.

The focus of this camp is on learning better technique, new skills, and developing existing skills. Camp participants will practice technical bike skills and handling, practice running technique and swimming technique, learn about and improve transitioning skills and multi-sport strategies. This is a learning camp more than a training camp.

It will be a fun week with games and discussions designed to teach participants about multi-sport and to be better triathletes. If you are a young triathlete or interested in becoming one this camp is for you.
