I had the great pleasure of training with some of the world’s best athletes when I moved out to Victoria, B.C. in 2002. Ironman World Champions, Olympic Gold Medalists and World Cup Winners were all part of our training squad back in the early 2000’s. A few things I learned along the way…

Monique Moore is retiring after six years as Race Director for XTERRA Victoria. Monique is leaving to pursue other career opportunities. She has been an important part of the success of XTERRA Victoria and we will miss her. We wish her the very best as she moves on to other challenges…

Swimrun is a multi stage race during which competitors alternate between swimming and running along a continuous course. There are no transition zones. Competitors must start with everything they need for the event and carry everything with them throughout the race. The Tri of Compassion is a fun, grass routes style triathlon based in Esquimalt with the swim at the Esquimalt Recreation Centre pool and the bike and run in the surrounding area.
